The museum displays the main cultural periods from Prehistory to the dawn of the Modern Age. 10- Museum of Fine Art :

he Asturias Museum of Fine Arts situated in Oviedo City. It considered the main museum in the Asturias region. The museum houses a tremendous public collection of art with over 15,000 works dating from the 14th to the 21st century. It comprises painting, sculpture, drawing, engraving, photography, applied, and industrial arts by different artists like El Greco, Goya, Sorolla, Picasso, Dalí, and Miró.

The museum occupies three buildings in the old quarter of Oviedo. It is the Velarde Mansion was built by the architect Reguera in 1767.  Oviedo-Portal House was constructed in 1660 by Cantabrian architect Melchor de Velasco. Besides, the building dates back to the 1940s displaying different museum services like offices, warehouses and stores, shops, and meeting facilities.
